Adrian Henri

Adrian Henri was a British poet and painter who rose to prominence during the 1960s Merseybeat movement. As a founding member of the poetry-rock group The Liverpool Scene and a contributor to the anthology The Mersey Sound, he was instrumental in bringing poetry to a broader popular audience. Influenced by French Symbolism and surrealism, he was often regarded as the primary theoretician among his contemporaries.
