Alice Coltrane

Alice Coltrane was an American jazz musician, composer, and bandleader known for her work as a pianist and harpist. A prominent figure in spiritual jazz, she recorded numerous albums as a bandleader starting in the late 1960s. Beyond her musical career, she was a Hindu spiritual leader and performed with her husband, saxophonist John Coltrane, during the mid-1960s.
