Arundhati Roy

Arundhati Roy is an Indian author and activist born in 1961. She is best known for her 1997 novel The God of Small Things, which received the Booker Prize for Fiction. In addition to her literary work, she is involved in human rights and environmental advocacy. In 2024, she was awarded the PEN Pinter Prize, which she shared with writer and activist Alaa Abd El-Fattah.
