Barbara Bergmann

Barbara Rose Bergmann was an American feminist economist whose research spanned childcare, poverty, and Social Security. She served as a co-founder and president of the International Association for Feminist Economics and held the title of Professor Emerita at both the University of Maryland and American University. Additionally, she was a trustee of the Economists for Peace and Security.
