Bjarne Melgaard

Bjarne Melgaard is a Norwegian visual artist, painter, and draftsperson currently based in New York City. Born in 1967, he is widely recognized as one of Norway's most significant contemporary artists. Following the 2014 public reception of his sculpture Chair, he has been described as the most famous Norwegian artist since Edvard Munch.
