Brothers Grimm

Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were German academics, linguists, and folklorists whose research significantly influenced the study of the German language and modern folkloristics. Born in Hanau, the brothers gained international recognition for their 1812 publication, Children's and Household Tales. Their extensive collection popularized numerous classic European stories, including Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and Snow White.
