Celia Britton

Celia Britton (1946–2024) was a British scholar specializing in French Caribbean literature and thought. She served as the Carnegie Professor of French at the University of Aberdeen and later as a professor at University College London. Throughout her academic career, she held lecturing positions at King's College London and the University of Reading, contributing extensively to the fields of literary history and criticism.
