Gabriele Tergit

Gabriele Tergit (1894–1982) was a German-born British journalist and writer best known for her court reporting and her novel, Käsebier conquers the Kurfürstendamm. She served as the secretary of the PEN-Center of German-language Authors Abroad. Tergit was the mother of mathematician Ernst Robert Reifenberg, who is noted for his work on Plateau’s problem.
