Ingrid Schaffner

Ingrid Schaffner is an American art historian, curator, and educator who has focused on contemporary art since the mid-1980s. Her work explores themes including archiving, collecting, photography, feminism, and Surrealism. She is recognized for curating exhibitions that bridge the gap between studio craft and fine arts, notably the 2009 project Dirt on Delight: Impulses That Form Clay at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia.
