Madhur Jaffrey

Madhur Jaffrey is an actress, television personality, and cookbook author born in 1933. She is widely recognized for introducing Indian cuisine to the West, most notably through her 1973 debut, An Invitation to Indian Cooking, and her 1982 television series, Madhur Jaffrey's Indian Cookery. Throughout her career, she has authored over a dozen cookbooks and served as a food consultant for the New York City restaurant Dawat.
