Mary Corse

Mary Corse is an American artist based in Topanga, California, whose work bridges Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism. Associated with the Light and Space movement, she is recognized for her experimentation with radiant surfaces and the use of materials like glass microspheres. Corse attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned a B.F.A. from the Chouinard Art Institute in 1968.
