Pontus Hulten

Karl Gunnar Vougt Pontus Hultén was a Swedish art collector and museum director, widely regarded as a distinguished museum professional of the twentieth century. He served as the pioneering head of the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm and later became the first director of the Musée National d'Art Moderne at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, holding the position from 1974 to 1981.
