Robert Beck

Robert Beck, known by the pseudonym Iceberg Slim, was an American writer and former pimp. His 1967 memoir, Pimp: The Story of My Life, achieved significant commercial success, selling nearly two million copies by 1973. In addition to his autobiographical work, Beck authored several novels, including Trick Baby, which explored themes from his life experiences.
