Thomas Crow

Thomas E. Crow is an American art historian and critic recognized for his influential writing on the role of art within modern society and culture. Since 2007, he has served as the Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. His work focuses on the intersection of artistic practice and broader cultural developments.
