Tulsidas

Goswami Tulsidas, born Rambola Dubey, was a Vaishnava Hindu saint and poet associated with the Bhakti movement. He authored several works in Sanskrit, Braj Bhasha, and Awadhi, including the Hanuman Chalisa. He is most recognized for the Ramcharitmanas, an epic retelling of the Ramayana centered on the life of Rama.
