Vanessa Beecroft

Vanessa Beecroft is an Italian-born American contemporary artist who works across performance, photography, video, sculpture, and painting. Her practice is known for staging large-scale tableaux vivants featuring professional models. Her early career focused on gender and autobiography, while her later work shifted toward themes of race. Based in Los Angeles, she has also engaged in various commercial collaborations.
