Werner Spies

Werner Spies is a German art historian, journalist, and exhibition organizer. He served as the director of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris from 1997 to 2000. Recognized for his significant contributions to the field, he has been described by peers as one of the most influential art historians of the 20th century.
