William Jordy

William H. Jordy was an American architectural historian and a prominent scholar in his field. He served as the Henry Ledyard Goddard Professor Emeritus of Art History at Brown University, where he taught for many years. Widely recognized for his contributions to the study of American architecture, he is often noted as a leading figure in the generation following Henry-Russell Hitchcock.
