An independently produced magazine, created by the Hella Looks team with the help of some amazingly talented photographers, engineers, and other creatives. In the midst of unprecedented times, the idea we were most drawn to was Action. With the beast of systemic racism and inequality staring us down, we remembered that the source of our power is within our people and our shared vision of the future we craved. Through our individual and collective action, we hold the power to make a better life for our present and for generations to come. Our third, independently produced zine centers on Action. This 52-page edition features interviews with Fredrika Newton who is President and Co-Founder of the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation, musician/author V.C.R, and rapper/plant-based chef Hugh Augustine. There’s also a spotlight on our lovely collaborative sponsor Aqua Equity, a Black-owned water brand making a positive impact on communities in need, and original art pieces from the Hella Looks team.
